About the Center

The Kaj Munk Research Center studies the works of Kaj Munk and his contemporaries. The center disseminates knowledge about this through books, articles, lectures, and seminars. Additionally, the center makes a range of resources available digitally.

• The center has digitized and annotated Kaj Munk's complete dramatic works and all available sermons. It is now possible to read all dramas and sermons online. The dramas are provided with introductions and extensive comments. The website also contains an advanced search program.
• The Digital Kaj Munk Archive also contains many other texts by and about Kaj Munk; letters, articles, photographs, etc. The goal is that by the end of 2023, the archive will contain everything Kaj Munk wrote with the intention of publishing – as well as many other texts by and about Kaj Munk.
• The center has registered a large number of documents acquired from Kaj Munk's heirs. It is possible to search in the over 5000 digitized documents, and many can be downloaded directly from The Digital Kaj Munk Archive on the website.
• The Kaj Munk Research Center offers educational programs about Kaj Munk with associated texts, ready for use. The material is aimed at the older classes of primary schools, high schools, adult education centers, and preparatory adult education. The center facilitates contact with speakers who offer lectures about Kaj Munk.
